Ephesians 4:11-12

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”

I. INTRODUCTION: Why policies, guidelines and standards?

A. The work of the ministry requires many people (Ephesians 4:11-12)

B. The work of the ministry should be done “decently and in order”(1 Corinthians 14:40)

C. Application:

1. When many or few people are involved there must be some kind of policies, procedures, guidelines and

standards set to keep things flowing smoothly, with minimum friction. (Romans 12:18peaceful environment)

2. When many or few people are involved there will be differences of opinion pertaining to policies,

procedures, guidelines and standards.

3. Therefore, the Faith Bible Church Ministry Workers policies, procedures, guidelines and standards have

been established with the desire to minimize friction and maximize a decent, orderly environment to the

glory of God.
